HP have released updated drivers for DuoSense for Windows 7
HP have released updated drivers for DuoSense for Windows 7, for 64 bit. HP are due to upload the drivers for 32 bit soon.
Important Note:
Prior to installing the updated drivers, ensure that you uninstall the current drivers (navigate to Control Panel => Programs and Features). Only once this procedure is complete should you install the new drivers.
Why do I have single touch functionality when I successfully installed the N-trig true multi-touch bundle?
In Windows 7, one of the things that you have to check after successfully installing the N-trig bundle, is that the Tablet PC Components checkbox (in Windows Features) is selected.
In order to verify this, navigate to Control Panel => Programs and Features. In the Programs and Features window, click the Turn Windows Features On/Off link, located in the left sidebar, as displayed in the image below. 
Where is Auto Mode in Windows 7?
A new feature of Windows 7 is that Auto Mode has been replaced by Dual Mode. Auto mode was designed for Windows XP, since XP did not support Dual mode. In Windows 7, however, the Dual mode has the same functionality as Auto mode.
Where are the Windows 7 drivers for the HP TouchSmart tx2 32 bit?
The Windows 7 drivers for the HP TouchSmart 32 bit will be released in the near future. Watch this space for details.
In Windows 7, in Dual mode, sometimes the pen functionality does not respond properly.
This happens in ink-enabled applications, when touch and pen functionality are executed simultaneously.
Pen and touch functionality are still both enabled, and function correctly.
This is a known issue, and we are working to correct this for future releases.

Why does my pen not have an eraser function?
This is per the specific design request of the OEM.

If you have iTunes installed on your computer, when the computer powers up, or resumes after being in sleep or hibernate status, and is connected to the docking station, an error message stating "Can't connect to driver" is displayed.
Solution:
Navigate to http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/drivers.php, download the patch dated February 4, 2009, and install it on your computer.
Why is that regardless of the entry I choose, both pen and touch are enabled?
This is a known issue, and we are working to correct this for future releases.
While the computer powers up and is connected to the docking station, the N-trig applet crashes, and an error message is displayed.
While the computer powers up, or resumes after being in sleep or hibernate status, and is connected to the docking station, the N-trig Pen and Touch settings applet crashes, and an error message is displayed: "The Applet has stopped working."
Workaround:
1. Navigate to the following file path:
:\Program Files\N-trig\N-trig Software Bundle.
2. Double-click the NtrigApplet.exe file.
Note: If the above workaround fails to remedy the situation, restart your computer.

If you have several USB devices connected to your computer, when the computer powers up, an error message is sometimes displayed.

Workaround:
Remove the computer from the docking station, and reboot the computer. You can then re-dock the computer.

Sometimes this can happen when the computer is not docked. In such cases, simply reboot.

Supported operating systems for N-trig's DuoSense are:
- Windows XP-Tablet Editio
- Windows Vista (32 and 64-bit versions)
Note: Windows XP does not support the Inking functionality.
When the computer powers up, the pen also writes when it hovers above the screen, for few seconds.

Workaround:
As soon as you see this effect, pause and wait for 30 seconds, holding the pen above the center of the display, until the pen resumes its usual functionality.
Can I purchase an LCD that already has your digitizer attached?
Our system is a built-in solution within the laptop, and cannot be purchased separately.
